So yesterday at church a woman came up to me and commented on how impressed she was with my daughter's "scriptural knowledge". She had been in my daughter's class for a little while and apparently my little girl already knew most of whatever it was they were talking about.
I was about to pat myself on the back when the woman continued with this, "I told her 'Wow. You have great parents who teach you so much!'" and my daughter said "I just watch the movies."
Well. At least I bought the movies.
Do they have a cartoon version of Isaiah? Because I could really use something that made it easier for me to understand. :)

ReplyDeleteDon't feel too bad. I heard somewhere that there are more children who know who Santa is than Jesus.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me laugh (as do all your posts). My 5 year old gets compliments for his scriptural knowledge, but it's only because he listens to his scripture books on tape almost every night. I'm a mother of many short-cuts.
